POSITION Executive Chef | VVIP Private Estate LOCATION Amman Jordan The client will apply for the work visa and provide relocation assistance if not local. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION We are seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to manage the culinary operations of a prestigious private estate. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in international and Asian cuisines, with experience in fine dining, private events, buffet service, and family-style meals. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent leadership, organisation, discretion, and professionalism, while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, efficiency, and service within a dynamic private household environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Culinary Operations Design and prepare exceptional daily meals for the Principal, family members, and guests. Create bespoke menus tailored to dietary requirements, nutritional goals, allergies, cultural and personal preferences. Demonstrate expertise across a wide range of international and Asian cuisines. Deliver consistently high standards in plated fine dining, family-style meals, buffet presentations, and special event catering. Develop seasonal and creative menu concepts while maintaining variety and innovation. Source and select the highest quality ingredients, ensuring premium standards and freshness. Ensure all meals are presented to luxury hospitality standards with exceptional attention to detail. Event Planning & Hospitality Plan and execute private lunches, dinners, celebrations, and high-profile events. Coordinate seamlessly with household staff and service teams to ensure smooth dining experiences. Prepare and manage multiple service styles depending on the occasion and guest requirements. Anticipate the needs of the Principal and guests while delivering discreet and personalised service. Kitchen Management Oversee the daily operation and organisation of the kitchen. Lead, train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain excellence and consistency. Manage kitchen schedules, workflows, and operational efficiency. Monitor stock levels, food costs, and kitchen inventory. Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of all food products. Maintain equipment and coordinate servicing or repairs when necessary. Hygiene, Safety & Compliance Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation. Ensure compliance with HACCP and all relevant health and safety regulations. Conduct regular checks to ensure the kitchen environment remains organised, efficient, and fully compliant. Uphold strict confidentiality and discretion regarding all household matters. Personal Attributes & Household Standards Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence at all times. Remain calm and composed under pressure in a fast-paced private household environment. Show flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules, travel requirements, and last-minute requests. Maintain a positive attitude and collaborative working relationship with all household staff. Present professionally and uphold the standards expected within a luxury private residence. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Formal culinary qualification from a recognised culinary institution. Minimum 5-8 years' experience as an Executive Chef, Private Chef, or Head Chef within luxury private households, VIP residences, yachts, or five-star establishments. Strong knowledge of international and Asian cuisines. Proven experience in fine dining, event catering, buffet presentation, and family-style dining. Experience working in private households or with high-profile/VIP clients preferred. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. Knowledge of specialised diets, nutrition, and allergy-sensitive meal preparation. HACCP or Food Safety certification preferred. Fluent English communication skills.
